Scientifically iinnLight systems stimulate the following three levels of effects that are set in motion as the light energy is transmitted through the skin.

1. Photo-Mechanical Effect

Photons of light penetrate the skin colliding with the molecules of the body tissues below the skin's surface. There are approximately ten thousand collisions or bounces before the photon has given up its energy. We call this effect the iinnLight "molecular massage" which has an amazing relaxing effect on the muscles, joints and tissues.

This also enables the release of toxins and promotes a sensation of profound stress reduction at a very deep level.

2. Photo-Thermal Effect

This "molecular massage" generates heat by vibrating the molecules of the tissue and this relaxes the tissues allowing the capillaries to dilate. Therefore blood flow with nutrients and oxygen is increased to the tissues of the body and a revitalizing systemic effect is achieved.

3. Photo-Electric Effect

The photons of light then deliver an electric charge, raising the capacitance potential of the cells (recharging the cells like a battery), stimulating repair and regeneration.

iinnLight uses three (3) wavelengths of light energy and mixes them in a proprietary program for an enhanced effect:

RED:  630nm-640nm

These wavelengths penetrate deep into the sub-dermal layers and are great for tissue regeneration, pain relief and reduces cortisol for problems of weight loss.

YELLOW: 590nm

This wavelength does not penetrate as deeply, but has been shown to stimulate collagen production for a noticeable softening of wrinkles and improvement of skin tone.

BLUE: 420nm-450 nm

These wavelengths have an anti-bacterial effect on skin and can be used for skin conditions like acne. They are also very calming wavelengths stimulating the body to create serotonin and melatonin, helping the body to reset the circadian rhythm—the inner biological clock. They are also used to treat S.A.D. (seasonal effect disorder).

Scientifically this works because different biological molecules in tissue absorb different wavelengths of light, becoming "photo activated." Light absorbing molecules use different wavelengths of light as a signaling mechanism for cellular processes.
